Well the much talk about Lindt cafe is finally in Melbourne.I went this morning and was impressed with the cafe but not with the service.A waitress serves my friend a cup of coffee all spill out of the cup and without apologising or giving a napkin for the spillage till I have to ask for a napkin.I ask the same waitress for the napkins telling her she spill the coffee and she did not even apologise but gave a rude look at us.Well whats the point of having a upmarket and exclusive cafe when the waiting staff is inexperienced and rude?

Yes, its official - Lindt Cafe is definitely opening up in Melbourne. First store is Collins Street in June, followed by Chadstone.

Thank you for your email. I am glad to advise that we will definitely be opening more café's around Australia with Melbourne being next on agenda. We are still looking for suitable locations within CBD area, but we expect to be opening one by the next year.

Yes, I have heard from a couple of sources that a Lindt Cafe is on the way for Melbourne, but again I think it may just be rumours at this stage. Upper Collins St. would make sense though.
