A group of six people have cancelled their booking just this morning and I was last to snap up the freed up spaces! So lucky. Anyway fantastic review. All the more reasons for me to look forward to tommorow night! thanksBriannoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1992309463547711664.post-36457036166364729372008-05-27T00:48:00.000+10:002008-05-27T00:48:00.000+10:00Sry I meant first preferably, or second, of the mo...Sry I meant first preferably, or second, of the monthElliothttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05054855299596966207noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1992309463547711664.post-65131207967203127552008-05-27T00:46:00.000+10:002008-05-27T00:46:00.000+10:00Great blog Jon.They book one month ahead so call a...Great blog Jon.
They book one month ahead so call after 10.00am on first or second of the month for reservation the following month.
They also have saki or wine at reasonable pricesElliotwww.1001dinners.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1992309463547711664.post-84968936055733411962008-05-19T11:27:00.000+10:002008-05-19T11:27:00.000+10:00Thanh, I believe there were 11 or 12 people on my ...Thanh, I believe there were 11 or 12 people on my sitting and it tends to be full every night. It is all one bar, no tables: like a u shape, with woks on each side, and chef moves to the side where he is cooking. The tempura courses were not boring or sickly at all - a good mix of ingredients and tastes with perfect batter, the mix between seafood and vegies is great. I think it was $68 last year and from what chef tells me, prices have risen slighlty merely to keep up with ingredient cost increases. Really a great experience; I was one of the last to leave and it was great to really speak to Miyamoto and his wife about the Japanese lifestyle and everything they have been through. You must try it.Jon!http://www.blogger.com/profile/06843864454762808594noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1992309463547711664.post-81907301823901620132008-05-18T21:12:00.000+10:002008-05-18T21:12:00.000+10:00Wow, sounds amazing. The batter must be done so perfectly.

Was it a full house of 12 people when you were there Jon? And is everyone seated at the bar or are there tables?

The price has gone up though hasn't it. I remember reading that it was $60 when it first opened. Or maybe the price changes with the ingredients?thanh7580http://www.blogger.com/profile/12101572834580539226noreply@blogger.com
